📢 PRESS RELEASE – OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ITC JSC
To: Media outlets, press agencies, and ITC’s valued partners and friends,
Early this morning, upon receiving news that the vessel Dolphin 18 had encountered an unfortunate incident in the northeastern waters off Kuantan (Malaysia) – 202 nautical miles from Cape Cà Mau – many of our domestic and international partners reached out to ITC to express their concern and offer support. In response, ITC would like to provide the following official information:
🔹 Firstly, on behalf of the Board of Directors, ITC JSC would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all our partners and friends who have shown concern and support for the company following this news.
🔹 At present, the Dolphin 18 is NOT owned or managed by ITC JSC. In September 2024, ITC completed all procedures and officially transferred the ownership and management of Dolphin 18 to Hải Phương Shipping Company (headquartered in Hải An District, Hải Phòng City).
However, upon learning of the incident, ITC deeply regrets the situation and has immediately made efforts to contact the crew onboard to check on their well-being and extend our support. Additionally, we share our heartfelt empathy with Hải Phương Shipping, their management team, and the crew members associated with the vessel.
It is with great sorrow that we bid farewell to Dolphin 18 – a ship that once symbolized ITC’s early milestones in its journey of growth. Above all, the safe return of the entire crew remains our greatest joy, not just for ITC but for their families and colleagues as well. We send our sincerest thoughts and hope the crew will quickly overcome this challenge and continue their journey with unwavering confidence in the future.
